Thank you kindly to anyone who can help me. Looking for good quality, genuine Japanese restaurants. I am not looking for overly americanised Japanese restaurants — as real as possible.
Thank you!
Well there’s an authentic (my japanese friend said so) japanese cafe restaurant in downtown. It has things like hayashi rice, japanese curry, pork cutlet, omirice, etc. Great taste and decent price – it *is* in downtown and the owners are actually japanese lol. It’s called Yoshoku-ya. It has weird hours though, so make sure to call beforehand to see if they’re open.

Benkei Ramen
Great ramen for a decent price. Japanese owners too. Been there twice with friends. Usually a line up outside though =P

The restaurant where they cook the food in front of you. I don’t eat Japanese and that kind of food makes me puke really, because of all the oil and grease they use. He’s already told everyone about his birthday dinner. What do I do? I don’t want to go, and I keep telling him I’m not going! He says he going to hand cuff me to himself.
Then don’t eat, just go. It’s his birthday, and all you can think about is yourself? Wow girl, it’s one day, one time. Suck it up.
"japanese restaurants"
thanks

Japanese restaurants didn’t seem that common until a few years ago, then they just started popping up everywhere!
As we, as Americans move more and more towards a healthier way of eating, we often seek out cultures that are consistently healthy and mock those styles of eating in various ways. That being said, the Japanese eat primarily from the sea and are an extremely healthily eating society as a whole. I pray that we all take our cues from Asia, incorporating green tea and many other healthy items as much as possible.
I love the fried rice at Japanese restaurants. I know they use rice, eggs, carrots, etc. but I don’t know what the dry spices are they shake on. Do you know this secrete ingredient?
Thank you!
Not aware of any dry spices used. Sesame oil is a very potent and often used product in Japanese cooking. Fried rice also has bean sprouts and soy sauce in it.
well im doing a project and im going to do a japanese restaurant and the teacher needs kinda the exact number and how you find it. so…. how much money does a japanese restaurant make per year on average?
Thanks!!
Is your teacher stupid?
How can anyone give an "exact" number?
Every restaurant does a different amount of business.
A Japanese restaurant in NY would do 100 times more business
then ( let’s say) a Japanese restaurant in Detroit.
She gave you an impossible to answer question.
( You can show her this answer because I’m in the restaurant/market business.
All you can give is a percent ( profit) that they would work on.
A typical restaurant works on a 3 times scale( for food).
If something cost a dollar, they sell it for 3 dollars.
Drinks have a higher mark-up as do deserts.
