  • How do you make Japanese food that tastes like what you get at the hibachi restaurants?

Posted by admin on October 13th, 2011 and filed under japanese restaurants | 1 Comment »

Mainly, I’d like to know how to make the terriyaki chicken and the vegetable fried rice, but I want it to taste like what you get at the japanese restaurants. I LOVE japanese food. And an instant 10 points to anyone who can also tell me how to make the white sauce that they give you with your food. Thanks.

Here is a website that has Benihana copycat recipes. For the chicken that you want, use the steak recipe – it’s prepared the same. This website also has the vegetable fried rice and secret sauce that’s made with cream.

    Vegan Japanese recipes?

Posted by admin on October 2nd, 2011 and filed under japanese recipes | 5 Comments »

Does anyone know any Japanese recipes or foods that are naturally vegan, not just adapted to be that way? Like, if I were to go to a restaurant in Japan and order it, it would (probably) be vegan. I know that there aren’t a lot of recipes like this, but all help is appreciated! Thanks!
Well, rice is a given. I mean fancier, more complicated recipes.
Thanks for the great answers! : )
    Does anyone have any recipes?

If you went to a restaurant and you told them that you dont eat meat, they will give you alot of choices, like yellow radish sushi. Aspargaus sushi, kimpap which is sushi made of completely veggies. Spinach tofu tuna wraps. My dad used to work in a sushi restaurant and I was getting free sushi back in the days while i was a small critter.

Edit: egg sushi, bean sushi, daikon relish sushi
