How to construct a speech about the japanese culture?

Posted by admin on January 15th, 2010 and filed under japanese culture | 2 Comments »

I have an informative speech for a class and I decided to do it on japanese culture because its just so interesting.
My problem is that the topic is so broad that i dont even know where to start. I have the basics about japanese culture like the samurai and geisha etc…
Can you guys help me put it together or give me an idea of how to construct it.
    Pls….

University websites are the best resouces for speech outlines IMO. I’ve located a few to help you get started.

Be sure to practice your speech several times before giving it. Good luck!

What are some good movies about Japanese culture and Japanese lifestyles?

Posted by admin on December 24th, 2009 and filed under japanese culture | 3 Comments »

Movies like "Japanland" i really liked that documentary. Any documentaries about daily life in all the provinces or prefectures. Ones that talk about Japanese culture and what they do daily as well.

There is a SPECTACULAR anime about life in WWII called "Grave of the Fireflies".

It is one of the 5 movies I have watched that has actually made me cry.

    It is spectacular…

(Watch it with subtitles… EVERYTHING is better in the original language…)

You cand DL it from http://isohunt.com/torrents/?ihq=Grave+of+the+fireflies

I have only seen the anime… But I’ve just found a live action download… I’ll comment when I’ve seen it.
