    Japanese food favorite; dashi maki. Firm scrambled egg roll. Children love it! A standard on any sushi platter.

      I love watching this video, she’s so skilled with the eggs; everytime I make this I keep stabbing the eggs and the roll isnt so tight, its bigger (but I’m sure if I keep trying over and over again I’ll get it right lol) : )

      This is my favorite food. My grandmother is Japanese and she makes this for us whenever we go to her house! ^_^ I call it typewriter eggs, because of how you constantly are rolling it to one side and then sliding it back to the other to start all over again!.

      Yeah, dashi is pretty much stock made from bonito. You can buy it powdered, though, you don’t have to make it from scratch. A lot of groceries carry it now in their international section.
