I also like … I also like Cocoichi. I disagree with the sentiment that it’s like the curry people make at home; I haven’t had packaged curry that’s as good.
Plus Cocoichi lets you adjust the spices up to DEATH levels. I always get the hottest curry at Indian places and the hottest buffalo wings at those places. But at Cocoichi in Japan, I had to go down to a 7 (out of 10). Also, I like the variety of toppings you can get: spinach, fried oysters, cheese, and of course katsu curry were my favorites.
My favorite … My favorite Japanese style curry shop is C& C curry shop. Pork curry. reasonable and delicious. many chops in Tokyo. Shinjuku, Yurakucho So if you have a chance, give it a try, I hope.

Japanese Curry is … Japanese Curry is great. It’s different to Indian curry. I had breaded pork in curry sauce with rice and ice cold Asahi beer = yummy.
