  • What age do you have to be to work in a Japanese restaurant?

Posted by admin on May 30th, 2010 and filed under japanese restaurant | 3 Comments »

I am 15 years old and looking for work, preferably at a Japanese restaurant in my town. How old would I have to be? Or any other requirements? (I can speak basic Japanese)

legally you can work with a worker’s permit. it depends on the place if they allow you to at that age though

i know i got my workers permit at my school. ask the office

You have to go to that restaurant and ask them.

Working in the family restaurant in the kitchen like an intern volunteer..you can get away with !!!
as a server ??? not with out a permit..
you will be busting tables until you memorize the menu and the daily specials..they may test you washing dishes and other odd jobs..
