Posted by admin on August 30th, 2010 and filed under japanese restaurants | 13 Comments »

I know people don’t like this ground zero Islamic center being built and Idk.. I thought maybe the military would sensitive because of Pearl Harbor.

No that’s major history. 911 is mor resent. Probably back in the 60s there would’ve been problems but not now.

Seriously you expect the morons on the fascist right to have brains??

These are the same people who want the so-called terrorists to go underground and not be in plain sight!

Very good analogy, but next time explain what the connection/context is because conservatives are not exactly versed in history.

definately not. the military has Anti-japenese-restaraunt tracking systems. if one gets within 2.5 miles it locks onto it and fires a japanese restaurant tracking missile.

You’re a a fucking idiot if you think that’s a good analogy. How would you feel about a $100 million Shinto shrine being built outside Pearl Harbor?

Very poor analogy. In Pearl Harbor, you had uniformed military forces attacking uniformed military forces in a surprise attack. That was it. On 9/11, you had a militant group who hides among the populace, attacking the populace in an unprovoked attack. To have Japanese restaurants near military bases isn’t an issue, because 1: restaurants aren’t ran by the military of the respective ethnicity, 2: the attack made by the Japanese was almost 70 years ago, 3: the war that ensued is resolved. Now, what part of a mosque being built near ground zero is similar to the points aforementioned? I shan’t be holding my breath on this one.
