Sushi Man on Bush at Powell, this is the place that introduced Sushi to California.
Yoshi’s on Fillmore at Geary a Japanese Jazz club. Not downtown but one of the best Japanse places in the city.

There are a ton of them if you look in an online yellow pages! You can find Japanese places in San Fran and find places by their atmosphere like fine dining or features like live music… There are a bunch of Japanese places you can check out such as Fujiyama Ya Japanese Restaurant!
